This Privacy Policy explains how medtalk india collects, uses and shares information when you use the Konvero Members mobile application (the "App"). Konvero is a private, membership-based referral network for healthcare professionals. By creating an account or using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile information. When you register or are enrolled as a member we collect your name, email address, phone number, professional details (specialization, designation, clinic or practice information), profile photo, bio and any social or business links you choose to add.

Content you create. Posts, comments, likes, photos, videos and documents you share on the member Wall; referrals you send or receive, including the details and feedback you enter; activities you log; and event RSVPs.

Network activity. Your circle and region membership, meeting attendance, one-to-one (K2K) meetings, visitors you bring, and the reports and performance scores derived from them. This is core to how Konvero works: your referral and participation activity is visible to relevant members of your network as described in Section 4.

Payment records. Records of membership fees and payments related to your membership. Payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER / "our payment partner"]; we do not store your card or banking credentials in the App.

Device and technical information. Device model, operating system version and app version; a push notification token; IP address and basic request logs when the App communicates with our servers. The App does not contain advertising SDKs and does not sell data to advertisers.

2. Device permissions and why we ask

• Camera and photo library — to let you take or choose a profile photo and attach photos, videos or documents to posts. Used only when you initiate it.
• Contacts — when you log an activity or referral, you can pick a person from your device contacts instead of typing their details. Contact information is read to show you the picker and only the contact you select is sent to our servers. We do not upload your address book.
• Location — to show event venues on a map and help you get directions. Location is used while you are using the App and is not tracked in the background.
• Notifications — to alert you about referrals, meetings, payments and network updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

You can use most of the App if you decline a permission; only the related feature will be unavailable.

3. How we use information

• Provide the App's features: referrals, meetings, events, reports, the Wall and alerts
• Show your professional profile and activity to the appropriate members of your network
• Send service notifications (referral received, meeting scheduled, payment due)
• Maintain accurate attendance, performance and membership records
• Respond to support requests and administer membership, including fees
• Keep the service secure, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. How information is shared

With other members. Konvero is a professional network: your name, profile, specialization, posts, and referral/meeting activity relevant to a counterpart are visible to members of your circle and, depending on the feature (for example the All-Konvero Wall or member directory), to the wider network. Do not post anything you are not comfortable sharing with other members.

With service providers. We use a small number of providers to run the service, such as our hosting provider [HOSTING PROVIDER] and Google Firebase (push notification delivery). They process data only on our instructions.

With circle and platform administrators, who manage membership, meetings and payments.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and integrity of Konvero and its members.

We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your membership is active. Referral and attendance records may be retained as part of the network's historical records even after you leave, unless you request deletion. To request deletion of your account and personal data, contact us at connect@konveroclub.com (or use the in-app support option). We will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit between the App and our servers (HTTPS/TLS). Access to member data is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure; please keep your login credentials confidential.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and lodge a grievance. To exercise these rights, contact us at connect@konveroclub.com. You can correct most profile information directly in the App under Edit Profile.

8. Children

The App is intended for practicing healthcare professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by notification, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
